I had to go down to the dealership that had my car yesterday because they couldn't identify one of the sounds I was telling them about. So when I went down there to tell them and showed them, one of the techs at the dealer was like "Dude... Nice wheels! Where'd you get them? can I ask how much you paid for them?"

they could try to argue lowering it screwed the correct angle of the drivetrains along with the added stress of bigger wheels caused the strain and resulting noise.

But yes, they have to prove it. That doesn't mean they will and you wouldnt have to take them to court to make them. But thats like worst case scenario. Just escalate it with corporate if denied and/or try a different dealership. Granted they may add a not to your file or something due to the mods
