Check the coolant reservoir by any chance?


Dealer is going to take care of it under warranty I'm sure, but people like taking internet guesses.

Car arrived at the dealership last night. Not sure when they'll start looking at it.

I'm actually going to guess that the motor ingested coolant and spun a bearing. Twofold guess, but tried and true Subaru issue. Would also account for the "oil overfill."
