Finished the break in period of my new C38 JRSC after getting 6in of snow yesterday. Proud of myself to actually take her out in the cold weather like this but i couldn't resist. Luckily roads were cleared minus the insane amount of potholes that emerged over night, which were dodged lol.

I drive a BRZ, but an 86 is an 86, so I figured I'd contribute:
Drove about a mile to the train station this morning. I did not crash. Starting the week off right! |

Black ice on the roads in London this morning. Lots of blinking from the TC light. Got a stab of oversteer on an off camber corner (Florence at Rectory) while passing slower traffic. Did not crash.

Thank you ! Basically just followed this mans guide right here.. Stitched with a simple sewing machine... turned the needle manually the whole time as I was too scared to press the foot pedal and mess everything up.. Surprisingly a lot of work to trace out accurately where the stitching needs to go to follow the contour of the center dash piece. If you look hard enough you can see all kinds of mistakes just dont look too hard

Well, olsonpg ....... it looks like you did a nice job on the install......
![]() Oh, yes, missed a good chance to get my car smacked today. Went to pull out of the subdivision, with slick streets; construction going on; car coming around a blind curve, way too fast; I hit the gas, the wheels spun, my car "cut the power" ..... I almost didn't get out of the way...... but I did. This is the first time my FR-S has "interfered" with my driving, by cutting the power. Made me feel helpless ..... ![]() humfrz |
