Passanger seat rattle

Anyone has a rattle coming from the passenger seat adjustment bar? And do you know how to fix it?

I swear it's like these cars were built in China.

Is anything under the seat that is causing the rattle .. ??

Is the seat bolted down tight .. ??

Maybe the return spring has slipped off or is broken .. ??

Is an object preventing the catch from going into a slot .. ??

Are you sure it's not the seat belt rattling .. ??

I hope you get it sorted out .....

I had a horrible rattle from my passenger seat and since it was the only noise I had it was driving me insane. Could not find it no matter how hard I tried to listen. would go away on the rare occasions I had a passenger but would come back shortly after I would get anything out of the back seat on the passenger side. One day while cleaning I got annoyed by the little seatbelt retaining strap just dangling there and snapped it together.
Never hear the noise again.

I had the same rattle that T-coat mentioned but also noticed that there is a rattle in the seat if the passage seat is all the way back and not one is in it. Try sliding it forward 1-2 notches (talking about the lower seat). That worked for me.
