Their tune at first then a custom tune down the line. Trying to move to San Antonio this year... if it all works out then I should be a little closer to a quality tuner... surely closer than I am now... West Texas is not kind to imports!

Know of any down your way? I've read that Jotech in Dallas are capable.

Yeah there isn't much in West Texas. I know JMS Racing is popular. They're in San Antonio and have experience with the FA20 motor. And then there are a couple in Austin I hear are good.

I'm sure HKS's tune is solid, but it doesn't hurt to get a more smoothed out dyno tune. Also, what advantages does that Beatrush underpanel have? I'd like to get one of those.

I'll just cut and paste what the Kamispeed site has on it...

Quote:
The Beatrush Aluminum Underpanel significantly reduces undercarriage air turbulence which helps stabilize your ride at high speeds. The underpanel's flat bottom design creates a low pressures zone that in-turn creates down force. The Beatrush Underpanel has built in vents that reduce engine temperatures by ventilating heat from the motor via the suction created from the flat-bottom design. On top of that a high-grade 2mm thick aluminum protects the engine and transmission from road debris on street or track driving.
Btw, can you get me the names of those shops in Austin you speak of... thanks in advance

The ones in Austin, were MZM Performance. The other was Cobb, but I don't think they do anything on our cars. :/

Got around to completing two of four installs today...Still have to torque the bolts on the differential mount support bar though. I needed a crows foot but l left my set at work. Pretty straight forward installs. Two more installs to go for now...

Once in the rain for like two minutes... lol Never again though! I was at a local car show when the sky turned dark... I left the show immediately and was two minutes from my house when the rain came down. Pulled right into my garage and went straight to cleaning the undercarriage.

She only gets out on beautiful days if they fall on the weekend... lol She is a trailer queen and car show whore...

Hahaha... those two marks are from bolts that secure the aluminum underpanel... they are just kissing the surface of the underbrace. I'll just have to live with it... good thing the marks can't be seen with the underpanel installed. lol
