I am happy to say that I will be bringing my car to Japan when I transfer there in a few months. Hope to get in touch with some of you when I get there.

That is true, I blocked the vents below the garage to keep the dust and stuff out.

Hit us up when you land, we'll have to organize some sort of 86 meet/road trip of sorts.

As for me i'm just sat contemplating a Tomei UEL header, or rather, contemplating the "Do I really want to have to swap it back for stock for each Shaken then put it back on / mess around with new gaskets/etc"

you wont have to if you have a catted front pipe that still passes the sniffer test.

Just won a white TOM'S front lip for 2500 yen, only very very minor scuff to the paint on the underside, now to either paint it or clean it and sell it to upgarage for 20k.. Lol

Just a heads up , there's a full set (front and rear pair, unpainted, unused, FRP) aimgain LF sport overfenders for 57k yen ($470) in my local upgarage, if anyone's interested.

Requires cutting of stock fenders front and rear for wheel fitment I believe.

Any one know of someone that can help me with the emissions test process for my car? I can do the rest at the LTO.

There are a couple of Y-plate and/or American owned BRZs and 86s on base. Not exactly a community.
