High boost pulley with C38 looking pretty sexy, is there possibly no way to run that setup on a stock engine?
I probably know the answer but damn that just sounds like a dream lol |

Easy, why not? We're doing it with just an upgraded port injector on 92 octane. lol

Might be possible to put in an electronic boost controller. Then you could run a low boost map for pump gas and a high boost map for E85? Or an extra high boost pulley on the same set up above to get more useable low and mid range? Just spit balling ideas here. |

Well damn lol if you're running it fine on 92, I feel pretty comfortable running it on 93 here then. My goal is 300-330whp, that would be amazing lol. |

Well I know there is at least one KW C38 owner using that set up. Maybe it's not possible on a JR kit. Anyways back to lurking |

For a roots/twinscrew/standard blower on manifold style - it's even more simple / cheap, but I won't get into that here... |

Well from looking at the graph if you were to shift at redline 7400, you'd be at 14 PSI. But if you shift at 7000 you'd be at 11.5 PSI, that sounds a lot safer especially on 93 and E85. And I'm sure since there's not much low end TQ the stock engine should be able to run it reliably. Edit: So I messaged VitViper about why is boost irrelevant, because I didn't wanna look too much like a dumbass in front of all you guys and this is what he said. I also asked him how much he was making to the wheels. So I thought I'd share this to everyone that's interested in this thread. "Boost is irrelevant because boost level doesn't break anything (aside from blowing poorly secured couplers off). Power (tq) breaks stuff. The power levels these S/C kits put out won't break anything, even at 14psi. http://blog.vittuned.com/jackson-rac...ft-86-fr-sbrz/ " Last edited by Alltezza; 01-28-2016 at 12:00 AM. Reason: Added the graph, since we're on another page |

Very interesting...
Anyone know if Prime Motoring has any experience with tuning JSRC setups? Or can recommend a tuner in the tri-state area for this application? Not getting FI any time soon (summer 2017 earliest), but I'd like to at least get in contact with tuners and ask their opinion. |
