Looking to purchase a used FR-S (Modded vs. Stock) in GTA

Would not even consider the first choice, a modded car that comes with no certification or e-test from the dealer...that means if anything goes wrong you have to eat all of those costs. Add that its been modded to a reasonable extent, dealers can refuse to repair under warranty. You're essentially buying a car with zero guarantees, which puts you in the same camp as those buying cheap beaters...but at least beaters are cheap. The damage from the bumper where there's a crack and scuffs along with a missing wheel(likely destroyed) indicates to me that the owner took relatively poor care of it. Another bad sign making this a bad deal.

Condition is everything with used cars. If you were even considering the 2014 modded car for the price, skip it and do what Kazuya suggested and go new. If you're willing to buy in cash, a brand new leftover 2015 FRS has a savings of $3000 bringing the price down to $23K, a superior deal compared to that modded one for $20K.

Thank you everyone for all the replies! It was really helpful in considering if I should even consider the two options anymore. Decided not to pursue either option and will be on the lookout for a better option.
