Regarding the 3" stuff...Fitment is much tighter but another thing to note that really effect fitment is the motor mounts. We have our shop car here that we test fit parts off of all the time, The car has less than 4k miles on it (don't ask lol). Anyways we did a recent install of a 3" overpipe/frontpipe combo on a local customers car and after trying many different things could not get clearance off the subframe. The same pipe fit the shop car with plenty of clearance to spare. We took measurements off both cars and realized that the customers car (with 80k+ miles, 30k of them with forced induction) the motor sagged/drooped slightly over 3/8" inch. We upgraded the car to cusco mounts and the pipe had clearance everywhere.

I currently have a DC sports catback. I want to pair it with the jdl el and the ultra quiet front pipe but im afraid that it'll still be too loud.

Are you still running this exhaust configuration? I simply breath on the gas pedal and it is too loud. I am running all 3" piping, JDL overpipe, UQFP and their 3" muffler. I'm wondering if their muffler is the issue. Just too loud! Solution ideas anyone?

I'm still running this config and absolutely love it. Make sure you get your resonators to remove rasp/drone. I have a few friends with a track pipe and those things are loud!!!!
