My settings are are 6 clicks back from hard front and rear with eibach 25mm front, 19mm rear sway bars. -2.0 camber F, -1.5 R. Its the perfect daily driver setup in my opinion. Very comfortable on both high and low speeds.

Hi all,

I had these coilovers installed about 2 weeks ago, and before and after alignment the car is pulling to the right a lot. The caster right now is at front left 6.0", front right 5.5". What could be the issue?
On a side note, the passenger side creaks over bumps at low speeds pretty loud too post alignment but not between installation and alignment. I did grease the sway bar bushings(white line swaybars + endlinks), but it only made the creaks worse and the driver side is also making the same sound now. Is this related to the coilovers or the sway bar only?

Just throwing this out there -- I have knocks in passenger front and rear with my new flex Z, but seems to come and go, and seems to be more prominent when very cold (0-10deg F). No idea what it could be. Not sure I have preload set correctly... but not sure why a knock would come and go either.

Well I found out my front passenger is blown 😑 didn't even last for a month and did not adjust to the lowest. Current setup is 13.5 from the center of the hub to the fender. Called Tein and they said I need to send the suspension to them which is kind of my fault too for giving my OG suspension away to someone who needs it. Now I'm stuck with a blown suspension since I just can't send my suspension to Tein.

What size rims? I'm also in Dallas. I'd like to compare rides.

That's crazy sorry to hear. It has to be an install error. Do you know if preload was set up before installing?

actually, on that topic, who do we contact if we want spare shocks on hand in case something wears out/fails? and how much are a full set?
Would it be a completely silly idea to buy the Flex-A and have a set of Flex-Z shocks on hand in case I ever had to rebuild the flex-a, I can just put in the flex-z in the mean time?

Are there any explanations why my rear dampers sometimes go soft randomly? I set everything to 8 clicks a few weeks ago but decided to go back to 6 clicks tonight and when I was turning the rear passenger damper, it was way beyond 8, something like 12! the other three corners were at 8. This happened a few months ago as well.

I had the shocks installed at a shop, had a regular alignment done, installed SPC LCAs on my own, had another alignment done.

Weird. I never had that happen, is there something in your trunk that might be rolling around?

Riiight, i recall reading something at some not too old thread mention on about DIY fitting some protective caps over ends, for coilovers settings to not change due unsecured cargo movement in trunk ..

I do have a box in there that appears to slide around but I put on what I thought were protective enough homemade caps from some tubing. I only got two caps and placed those in the front, already lost one too.

I'll look into putting the box in the back seat and leaving the trunk empty to see what's going on. That night be the issue. Thanks guys

How, if any, does spring pre-load affect damping, and vice versa. If one is adjusted, should the other be adjusted? What exactly does spring pre-load do?
