Yes both cars are as good. The Exige got more quality and more default making both cars equal.

You're saying the Lotus has "more quality"? Haha, don't get me wrong, I love my Exige, but to say it has more quality is to be deluding yourself. It rattles and creaks, leaks water, and dumps fluid from its radiator. Not sure what you mean by it having "more default"... Point being, it is a hand-built British vehicle. The twins, comparatively, even with all their faults, might as well have been designed and manufactured by advanced alien A.I. inhabiting precision machinery from the future.

Can't really compare the two, honestly. They were built to far different price points and purposes. One is a track focused, no-compromise (in theory, anyway) track day car. The other is a sporting road car.

But I will not argue that they both aren't special little cars.

Looks like my English still sucks more than I thought

By quality I mean good things, like steering feel, great ABS, lightness,...
I know how much build quality is lame

Default, weight distribution, build quality, shifting feel, cargo space (for race parts and tires), tire choice,....

The 86 is more average. Making both car as good.

Amazing shifter anyway, I need that

I'm on my work computer right now and that link is blocked for me. But as for my seat, I love it. It could be better, but for the price, I can't complain. The only significant improvement they could've made to it though would be the sides - they should be taller. I've really got to brace myself with my legs going around corners because the seat doesn't do a good job of holding me. It's probably still better than stock though.

If I ever cage my car, I'll upgrade the seat. But for stock seatbelt compatibility, mine is great. But Composite Worx went out of business, so you can't get them anymore.

Pretty sure I'll be going to the Mega Meet on April 23rd in Orlando. If you're reading this, you should come too. We can hang out.

On the cae shifter, does the large spring just keep tension on the pivot to keep the shifter centered or does it serve some other purpose?

I'm pretty sure it provides tension and keeps it centered. I'm going to try to make a video today, if it's not too cold. So... hopefully you can see it in action soon.

Sure, but I'm going to be really busy for the next two days, so you probably won't hear much out of me until Thursday night or Friday.

I don't know. I don't really want to, but then again, I don't really have a use for it. I have it sitting on a shelf in my living room now as a decoration.

Do you like the cae? I'm really thinking about getting one. I wanted one for my mini, but then I traded it in for the brz. Now that they make one for the brz I feel like I have to have one.
