Exclamation CEL, no power steering, speedometer stops, revs limited

So not sure what's going on. When I drive on the highway or at a speed above 60-70mph for about 5-10 minutes without stopping or slowing my car seems to enter some sort of limp mode. The CEL comes on, the speedometer stops working and drops to zero, the power steering goes off and the light comes on, the ABS light comes on, and the RPMs are limited to 4000 or below.

Doesn't give any codes when I'm getting it checked. Issue stops and lights turn off once I turn off the car and turn it back on. Only the CEL stays on but only for a bit until I drive it. Once again this only occurs when traveling constantly around 60 mph without stopping, it doesn't happen when I'm driving in the city.

Anyone have any thoughts on what could cause this? I'm thinking speed sensors or ecu is bad. Thanks in advance.

Pull the code, list your mods. Could be anything from a cam position sensor to aftermarket LED's.

I'll try to get codes and update make an update. And I don't have many mods, especially any that would possibly give me this issue. Mods are aftermarket exhaust minor interior mods (shift knob, momo steering wheel, nrg releasable hub). NIA eyelids and splitter.

I dont get why eveyone come here to ask about their CEL's and other issues. Your best to take it to a shop/dealership and pay them to diagnosis it then decide if you want to fix it or if you will pay them to fix it. The other option is scan it yourself and get an idea of what the issue then start replacing parts. You should still be under powertrain warranty (unless your over 60k miles or w/e it is) so if you still have warranty take it to the dealer.

Do you still have the airbag and is it connected like OEM? Not having an airbag funtional in a modern car can certainly cause it to freak out.

And CEL codes should be stored in the ECU, I've never had one not.

Because googling and asking for a few hours is cheaper than a $100 diagnosis fee at most shops that will often just toss parts at it on your dime with no guarantee of a fix. Agreed it's foolish to ask without proper information attached but I'd certainly start with the internet over opening my wallet for the dealer/local shop, which if it's a strange scenario like the OP the service people will probably be googling as well, in the modern era they don't have resources the average person doesn't aside from thousands of hours of hands on experience, which usually doesn't translate very well across models on electrical issues.

You make a good point.

do you have sema size tires and rims in back and front? had exactly the same case, had more than 8% larger rear tires(215-45-17 front and in the back 225-55-17). ASB computer sent signal that it's malfunctioning, so - either ABS speed sensors may be damaged, if your case is not the same or the abs computer itself, last i doubt. Anyhow, it's probably ABS related, as on these speeds variations in wheel speed really come out and ABS finishes it's long term tests. As they fail - car goes into crippled mode as main safety feature is not performing.

Have never had that one before and I've been reading post around here for 3 years now. Let us know what you find out.
