You should definitely do it. I used some M3Y touch up paint, turned out great. Just finished installing.

I agree, that tint % looks great, although any chance you could post another photo or two so we could get a closer and clearer look? The sun's glare in that photo is making it tricky to get a good look.

Hi All:

I'm in CA and looking to purchase a HyperBlue in the next week or so. I've been reading about them and gazing longingly at photos ever since the special edition was announced last year. I've finally persuaded the wife to approve the purchase and have been using cars.com to find out how many are still available. Cars.com currently shows 93 nationwide, but I know that number is at least 95 as I found a couple dealerships in CA that each have one and don't list on cars.com. Of the 95, 29 are in CA and 25 of those are close enough to me that I could spend a day traveling to get one.

I've talked two dealerships advertising at MSRP down to invoice price ($27K) before tax/title. Ideally, I would like to pay $26K or $26,500. Do you guys think that is doable? Would anyone be willing to post what they paid prior to tax/title? I would especially appreciate any info from those of you who bought in CA.

I also want to pass along that Joe Spitz, a car salesman out of Carter Subaru in the Seattle area runs an excellent Subaru website and is really helpful. He has all kinds of useful info on there, but here is his BRZ page:

That sounds pretty accurate for what I just paid here in MD. For reference, my '15 FRS which is a base, cost me 24,205 in August. My Hyper.Blue BRZ cost me 27,2xx if I remember correctly. Before taxes, obviously. When it comes down to it, saving a few bucks is worth it, but I was able to get my dealer to reimburse my tint and floor mat purchase using a "We Owe" document. Basically, I owe them the total loss paperwork from my FR-S, they owe me $$$ for the tint and mats.
