For those who have their panel fixed by an auto body shop. What happened to the factory orange peel that the repainted panel had? Was it still there?

I've had most of my car repainted due to small scratches all around, and I'm pleased to say that it looks better than new!
It was done through my dealer, I think they handed it over to a body shop.

This is my GT86, yes.
On my car the orange peel was already much worse in some areas (doors, fenders and quarter panels), and those got painted, so I'm happy.
On my car you can't tell which panels have been repainted.

Thanks man for answering man. Was considering cf fiber trunk in the long run. But they said it can also fade fast. Would it still be the cas after you sand and reclear it with automotive clear?
