The tonality is probably crap and you'd most get some vibration feedback... but then again I ain't a luthier so what do I know.

You'd also need to use a full neck so it'd be a pain to adjust, and the comm dish would make playing almost impossible, but what does it matter when all you do is play Imperial March over and over?

Only if it's hollow. If solid body, makes no difference at all what shape it is.

I was talking about the material not the shape of it, type of wood, strength of material used (i.e. lap steel guitar) all affect tonality, sustain and vibration to a certain extent (obviously not as much as a hollow/semi hollow or acoustic guitar).

I assume the bass was made with a toy version of the ship and therefore is some type of plastic... which isn't ideal for tonality
