what are you talking about man? they can't "circumvent laws" to avoid paying OT. that's going to get them in trouble with the labor board.

now if they were paying OT for you going over 8 hours in a day, (example getting 2 hours of OT for working a 10 hour day) but you're really only working 4 10's then they would be correct in NOT paying you OT, hours up to 40 should be regular time. anything over, OT. Now there is a caveat to this, if you make over 26.99 per hour, the company is NOT legally required to pay you time and a half, they are still required to pay you straight time.

It hasn't been bad for a few weeks now. Not like before Christmas there when if somebody said "hello" 20 guys would jump them, say they did it wrong and start calling each other names.
