There are so many more aspects to a kit aside from horsepower. The simple truth to the matter is that this kit is well engineered and you pay for it. If your basis for justify which kit is "better", you're looking at a very small aspect of the kit. One that means very little during actual ownership. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

$5500 seems to be about the price point a lot of systems are at, isn't it? The cheapest system I've found is the SBD Turbo, which take about $4k once you get a tune. That's a bit of an outlier from what I've seen, a really good value. This SC may be a little more than others, but it also has a lot of R&D behind it, and includes a warranty (powertrain and on the SC itself, the former mileage from 0 dependent). Turbos are also much bigger projects in my mind, in both install and maintenance.
As to the numbers, 75hp is a pretty conservative number (and that is WHP, so almost 50% gains still). That's with the CARB legal 91 octane tune with stock exhaust and no other modifications to the car. Seems pretty comparable to other systems in that case. A full exhaust and proper 93 tune seems to net close to 300hp, and E85 330hp. Also a Roots/TVS type SC will drive much different than a Centrifugal SC or Turbo. Different strokes for different folks. |

On E85 on the standard pulley you will NEED to upgrade the injectors as you will run out of fuel. We have been able to net about 330whp (DynoJet) on E85 with the standard kit. On the Innovate Kit you would net about 310whp (DynoJet) with headers, exhaust, panel filter, snorkel removal and 69mm pulley. We are expecting this kit will be able to produce about 400whp with the smaller pulley, headers and Flex Fuel Tune. Though we highly suggest building you engine for this as this is guaranteed to snap some rods. . Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

We have tuned a couple with slightly smaller pulleys and they will make more power even on California 91 octane. So you know they are efficient. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

From what I've seen, the Edelbrock kit is one that you can count on to last 100k miles. I can't say I see that in any of the other kits out there. Last edited by Adam (NoVA); 01-10-2016 at 09:27 PM. Reason: add quote |

Man, this post has some great information. I've been sold on the Edelbrock for quite awhile. I do how ever have a question for yall. What gains should I expect with a smaller pulley, and 93 pump gas?

Here is part of your answer you can ensure there will be a few more horsepower. This was on 91 Octane. From @DeliciousTuning
