The radio this morning had a list of values/prices that really put it in perspective.


Some I remember:
1 Stealth bomber - $760 million
The Mona Lisa - $780 million
The Lakers - $2.6 billion

I still say you could do a lot if managed efficiently. Hell you could provide most at risk children/families in Canada some free education(University, etc.; as well as subsidies for their rent and various other things of that nature). In turn those people will become valued members of society and drive our economy forward therefore enhancing life in this country in general(I'm painting really broad strokes here because I don't feel like going on a 100 page thesis type argumentation... but I very well could).


Don't underestimate what you can do with a billion dollars if you don't spend it on stupid shit like a stealth bomber or the mona lisa. Hell with that billion you could do enough lobbying to change some serious things (A lot of politicians would side with you if they could do the right things while still getting the same kickbacks they get from corporate lobbyists and in hypothetically bribes.)

Not gonna go into full posts... but that's the thing, even someone win powerball AND even donate to poverty, it will not bring em out from poverty. It's a simply sad, humans can't change their way that quickly. Yes, younger kids should have a chance... but adults gonna be different.

I must confess, I do not understand crowdfunding in the slightest. Maybe it makes sense for like science and experiments and stuff, but for people making a product it's just confusing. People do it for collectibles and video games and whatever else. I guess it just seems odd to me because all I see is, "Give us money, so you can give us more money."

There is a 16 Camaro SS sitting 3 feet from me right now. Needless to say I have been checking it out and OMFG it is sexy as F. I hate to admit it but I like this car. Sticker on this one is 62k LMAO wayyy to much

I pass by a Chevy dealer on my commute and they had one sitting out front last week. The tweaks they have done to it are spot on. It's definitely a positive update to the body style.

There are no tweeks. It is a whole new car according to the sales guys here. The sound this thing makes in the drive thru is awesome! I feel bad for the guy who buys this one, everyone is going to beat on it haha we are already revving it while its cold
