Looks great. Classic white is a great look. Seeing these pictures always gives me blue balls. Waiting for a leather Raceseng is killing me

Potentially stupid question, as I have never really worked with Blue Loc-tite before--how much should I be applying? I put some on the upper threads, figuring that would suffice, but it didn't stick at all.

Try red, but typically loc-tite wouldn't work for shift knobs unless you tighten the hell out of it, then maybe.

Considering I may replace or swap back to stock at some point, I think red wouldn't be a very good idea. Thanks, though.

It's really not that big of a deal, it's only loc-tite, not super glue. So it will come off if you really want it to. GL!

And the larger surface area over the stock knob is great, more surface area to push/pull against.
Have you tried shifting with your hands on the side? How does it feel? Interested in this shift knob.

Thanks!

I recently bought replica TRD shift knob from ebay. It's a knockoff but the quality is suprisingly well. It's lighter than oem and sits lower, you can feel the gears!

As an update, I basically covered the adapter threads with blue loc-tite and it worked perfectly. Only side effect is that I had to tighten it down a bit beyond how I had it staged, so now the gate pattern is slightly askew....but I actually kind of like it that way, gives character!

From 1-4, that's how I tend to shift, holding the sides like I'm holding a drink. To 5th, I'm slightly pouring a drink, and to 6th, I'm kind of upside down like I'm emptying a drink. Anyways, shifting holding the sides feels great with this shifter. 👍🏼👍🏼
