Winjet Headlight HID or Halogens

Hello,

I bought a set of Winjet headlights from mod bargains and was looking to improve the light output, as the halogens currently in the lights are very dim and have a bit too bad of a hotspot for my liking. I was looking at the OLM hid kit from ft86speedfactory and was wondering if anyone has tried them. I am open to any suggestions for other hid kits for ~$100 or if a better halogen would be better for my needs. Thanks in advance!

What you're aiming for isn't new bulbs. You need new projectors to have better light disbursement and/or output.

The winjets and project d are using halogen projectors, meaning they're better suited for halogen bulbs. If you just put HIDs in there it'll be brighter but you'll still have hotspots because of the projector's inner shields.

Thanks for the help. I'm gonna look into the morimoto kit for the car.
