if your on oft tune shiv rescales 02 sensor down o 11.25, and wayno tunes rescale it down to 10.2 from memory shivs tunes tend to run on the rich side, especially lower rpm wot as the stage2 load limits are are to about 1.6 across the whole range. on usa roms C\D, but not on other roms like G |

Okay, here's something I've been noticing. Posted a thread on it but not many responses there. OFH, OFT 93 Stage 2, Berk catted FP, everything else stock. I notice that during highway cruise my car starts closed loop, commanded AFR/measured AFR starts creeping down and eventually everything goes open loop. You can see in the log where short term fuel trim flatlines at zero and commanded AFR jumps to 15.
http://www.datazap.me/u/wepeel/75-mp...a=1-4-7-8-9-14 Steady cruise at 74 mph. Any ideas? |

either the car has a hardware problem, or something rearly weird is going on like weird tune corruption. I would try running a stock rom and see if it does same thing, you will get cel code p0420 ( you culd disable it in stock tune but no need for test) , car wont blow up with catless header on stock tune. if stock tune is ok then that eliminated problem with car\sensors the rear o2 sensor is used forcruise fueling adjustment i believe, maybe lg parameter "wideband 02" as that is rear sensor and see it looksok comaed to front sensor, it will be ddifferent as scaling isff but should show if sensor is stuffed. |

I will add 'wideband o2' to the log to see what that shows. I will give the stock tune a shot to see what it does. The strange thing is, if I pull over and stop/start the car, the AFR goes back to being normal. |

edit: I recall after changing my secondary post cat O2 to a NTK brand part I had more fluctuation in the commanded AFR vs the factory O2 (Denso?). Not sure why it does this exactly as I'd assume commanded AFR is controlled by load and rpm.

I believe the rear 02 is used to adjust cruise fueling , heard it a few times from moto mike and tdd etc, not sure of the excat amount or tables though. |

I've monitored Cat temps in torque before, "CatB1S1". Dunno exactly what it was but I know it trended way lower going to a catless UEL from stock (couple hundred degreesF on average).
The Rear O2 going bad seems to make sense... I would think there would be some logic in the ECU that would cause it to 'safe' itself into open loop if it somehow determined an erratic or unreliable rear o2 signal. I will try and check it all out soon - I only take the car out about once a week in the winter. I will definitely report back with my findings. |

I was observing my commanded afr numbers just now, and yup it still jumps around at cruising speeds (NTK O2). With the stock post cat O2 the Commanded AFR values would hold steady under steady throttle and load IIRC. I would order a stock O2, but after looking at the price tag compared to the $50 some odd dollars I paid for the NTK part... nah. lol

Hey guys i'm new to all this. I recently added e85 to my tank and was wondering if this log looked fine to you. Thanks.

Theirs a bit of knock in the highway log. It might just be due to residual petrol in tank if its your first tank of E85, its caused the IAM to drop a little |

Have a read of the "ECU Logging" link below Knock Corr (is FBKC Knock Correction) IAM is ignition advance mulriplier and should be 1, if its less than one you had some knock previously you should also log FLKC - Fine Learning Knock correction in your logs maybe leave out Short Term fuel trim STFT |

Just curious why would there be knock on the highway and not local? I logged one highway and got off the highway and did another log.

http://datazap.me/u/jlim7/highway-cr...2194-2390-2742 Look carefully at the data and you will start seeing patterns. Once you recognize these negative patterns you'll learn where you want to make adjustments to try to minimize them. You also want to log FLKC numbers for knock. You're probably getting much more knock correction than you realize since FLKC is not being logged here.
