Well I will just have to take my chances then. I would think that they would not resort to personal attacks and name calling anyway so it would just be an interesting debate as opposed to an argument.

on 11. Dec. i stranded with brocken ignition coil.

Dealer found scratches in cylinder no.3 and metal flakes in engin oil.

Toyota Germany agreed wit full engine replacement.

Just so I get this straight:
In Germany, you take your car in for a bad ignition coil, dealer drains the oil and inspects it, finds metal, then disassembles the engine "just to check" and finds scratches on a cyl wall. Agrees to replace entire engine.


In US owner gets oil change from dealer, engine dies in a couple of weeks due to oil starvation. Dealer blames owner and refuses to replace engine under warranty. (cant recall exact thread but someone will post).


WTF!!!???? Over.
