It's gotten to the point where I'll sometimes make an excuse just to take the car out and will always volunteer to drive when at work... |

I love to drive my FRS- I actually find myself looking for a longer route sometimes.

I don't think I've ever driven a car this much. It's true you start looking for excuses to drive it. I was never one to enjoy long drives in a jeep, now I've run out of long drive destinations ( it's a bit limited out here in outer space believe it or not ). I was reading about a new Porsche 718 ( if I'm not wrong ) with a boxer engine ( same one because seems Toyota is involved) and a turbo which gives u 285 hp, Porsche has decided to copy the concept and go back in time just like Toyota did. My question is what's the weight on that Porsche? If it's 1200 kgs with 285 hp ( and I have to say, that is one sexy mofo ) then I think that would be perfect, and if they can fit a turbo on their 2.0 boxer does that mean we can fit the same turbo on our boxer engine?
Interesting times guys, car manufacturers have woken up to the fact that most new cars are not as exciting to drive as the older models, or they've discovered that if they rebuild a classic it'll sell. Now Volkswagen go and build me a 2 door 1981 1.8 GTI MK1 in black with red stripes, I want manual Windows and sunroof with that. Thank you very much |

Took it for my first Canyon run yesterday at Angels Crest Highway! It was the best drive of my life, went with some corvettes and a miata and WRX. Coming from a Honda Accord it felt good being able to use the car fully and controllable! On my way back home I took a long route just jamming out and cruising. It's such a good car you can drive it hard and have fun or just cruise along enjoying views. Also took it to Malibu and the Pacific Coast Highway and it was pretty good as well!
