Center console measurements

Can somebody tell me the measurements of the center console where someone would put the plaque my car is in the body shop and im trying to mock up some fighter pilot switches for fog lights

Hmm mine's only 75mm on my 2012 86, a weird thing to be different sizes across models

Hmmmm thats weird i dont think there would be a different from 13 to 16 maybe the usdm ones are different?

Yeah lol i need the center console the little rectangle things thats empty i think it differs in the country's i need the usa one lol

If you want exact measurements of the fillet radius as well as sizing and such I could probably cut a template out tomorrow on accucadd if I get time.

UGH - ask an old, half blind man, to go out to a cold, dark garage and measure anything ...... will get you iffy results (let alone trying a conversion) .......

All of the plaques I've seen available make no mention of different sizes for different applications

I've made quite a few plaques here at work with the laser cutter we have. different thicknesses of materials have a slightly different dimension.Also,I switch between CorelDraw and AI.http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...onsole+plaques

If you are using CorelDraw,I've found that 3x2.365 with a corner radius of 31(my version of Corel,for some reason uses whole numbers instead of decimals) works pretty well,but that was for 1/4 inch acrylic.

I've done engrave stock that's .06 inches thick,and I've used a size of 2.35x2.95 with

In AI,I used .3 for the corners,but I think it should be closer to .325. I will have to find my measurements again.

Coreldraw and AI were dope back in high school, our engineering teacher gave us free reign with the laser cutting table and it taught us alot, the same went for the 3d printers. Most school today don't do that I believe.
