-Budget (not really sure but Trying to stay relatively cheap under $200 per tire)
-Class your running (No classes where I run, its all spec based)
-race only??? (Id prefer to drive home with them if possible)
-Daily drivers???? (Nope car is a autox/weekend fun car only)
-your wanting to run these all the time??

I would prefer to have a set I do not have to change. The car will not see a lot of miles just to and from the track really.

Car is not a daily driver and will not be driven a lot mainly on weekends In the winter I will put the stockers back on.

Would also like to do a few track days

Lets say i was buying everything from tirerack or discount tire direct. What sizes rim and tires would you recommend as well ?

Bill, I'm very interested in the turndown/muffler delete. Can you point me in the right direction? Where to buy?

I'd say you'd want to grab Dunlop Star Specs if that's the amount you will drive. Some will probably jump in and say RS-3s, but they will burn up quick at track days.

DO you recommend staggered setup or same wheels all around?

Great so the same wheels and tire sizes all around?

255's for the whole car or 245's ?

I would probably put 255's on for your purposes.as long as they fit.... ..more rubber...more traction..

I see that you got magnets for STX. Forgive me if I missed it in this thread, but does that mean the FR-S/BRZ was indeed placed in STX and not STR?

At any rate, love reading about this build, as I plan to be in the same class here, although not modded nearly as much. I would rather run stock class, but I don't want to run R-comps.

You could always run in the RTR class. It is a new class for this year. It uses all of the stock class rules except for tires are limited to 140 treadwear or higher street tires, no R-comps allowed. That's where I'm planning to autocross mine, at least to start with.

I don't think our local chapter has that class yet. We're kind of small compared to the mainland groups, so it could be due to lack of interest.
