Cameras and Camcorders

What is everyone using for Cameras/camcorders to record video of their FR-S?

I have a Contour Roam 2 from when I used to do some airsofting to get footage, since then I havent been using it and I've been wanting to get footage of me driving my frs. The reason I got the contour and not a gopro is because since Contour is out of business they are cheap. I got my roam 2 for $80 and it takes 1080p at 60fps.

I'm thinking about picking up a new charger (since I lost my original one) and maybe some more memory cards (because I remember the one I have maybe only records 2 hours of film).

Hoping to use the camera for when I decide to go on drives/autoX/track. So far I've just been using my phone with a suction cup mount mounted to the windscreen.

Dash cams are what I've been using for a few years. It records during driving and have parking mode for any incidents when parked/stopped. Everything is automatic so I don't have to remember to hit any buttons.

lol

unless I am mistaken dash cam is a video camera too and does what a go pro does perfectly fine.

I personally have a go pro solely for racing. I ended up using footage from dashcams most of the time and too lazy to hit button every time I go on the track.
