Yeah - I put in for a Raven AT on Monday (5/28/12) and I haven't heard anything from my sales guy.
I hate to expect the worst, but I honestly do think it could be a 3-4 week wait for me. |

Did they put in an order or a allocation request?

We aren't really submitting an order. It's a preference for next allocation for a sold unit. Therefore, just telling your Scion rep, if you have it, I need it. Worst case scenario, they will have to build it.

I'm not really a car guy, so I don't know the terminology... but I test drove a Firestorm AT and really liked it, but I was set on the raven color (which they didn't have).
The sales guy said he would obtain one... not sure whether that would be through an order or an allocation process. The way he talked about it, it seemed like he would be able to get one via another dealership. Not totally sure though. |

I'd call and ask if it was an allocation request(which may not get filled). Or an actual build request. Build request take 2-3 months to fill.

I too work at a Dealership and in the northeast region i am seeing quite a few FR-S automatics in inventory that are actually AT dealerships.. not hundreds.. but like almost one or two at most dealerships. Its the Manuals that are RARE right now. There's only like 10 on the ground in a 600 mile radius of my dealership.. the rest are all either transit/PORT or not yet built.. So guys.. just have patience.. If you order your.. you WILL get it.. it will just take alot of time right now.. in 7 months.. there will be plenty so if you want it "first".. its a waiting game. We let our customers know this.. because I'd rather have them expect a long time.. than tell them a shorter time and then have their hopes dashed.. not cool.

I wonder who's going to own it. Is the dealer keeping it for himself or is it for sale? |

I was in ocean city this weekend and scion hosted a huge car show and had maybe 5 frs on display. One was inside of Seacrets night club unlocked....
Just thought it was weird that they had so many on display. |
