Widest wheel on stock tires?
Why would i do this, you ask? Well i have plenty of tread left on the stock tires and really just don't feel like spending the money on new ones until i have to. I'd like to look at getting something that can fit now, as well as adapt to a bit beefier tire in the future. Obviously, need something practical that isn't sticking out the sides. I have no real reason for anything over a 225 as i'm not putting out any kind of power nor driving under extreme conditions.
Any ideas? Thanks. |

Read the tire specs from the manufacturer. I've seen the stock tires on 9 inch width wheels.

i threw 8.25" wide rims (XXR 527s 17x8.25) on mine..it stretches out slightly but fits fine.
