Advice for DD/autox break pads

So I have a stock brz still running the original oem brake pads. When winter ends I'll need to replace the pads, so I'm getting prepped. I just ordered SS brake lines (why not, cheap upgrade) which will go in with the new brake pads. Obviously I'll be using some good brake fluid (probably Motul) when I make the switch.

So I'm looking for advice on some good brake pads for a daily driver that will also be used for autox about once a month. I might do the occasional HPDE (cause I need it) as well, but not often.

I was thinking winmax w2s or w3s. I want something reasonably quiet but which doesn't fade while autoxing...

Thanks in advance!

I used Hawks HP+ and functionally, they were amazing for everything listed. Excellent cold bite with decent fade resistance for lapping. They were just too loud and dusty for my taste on a daily driver, a week of driving had my wheels coated in dust and when cold, I sounded like a bus stopping whenever I hit the brakes.

I don't have experience with anything else but I'll be trying EBC Reds and Yellows in the spring.

I've used Ferrodos DS 2500. Great DD as well as two AX a month. Very quiet and good stopping power.
I my next car I'm on Winmax 3 and I feel as if they have better cold bite and better overall stopping power. I don't track so others can chime in. They are also very quiet as a DD.
On initial bed in, both of these got me so nauseated I almost got sick. I do have bad sinuses though.

Had a similar question a few months back, here were the initial responses:

The C Street thread will either be enlightening or terrifying for you, take everything with a grain of salt:

I ended up buying a more street oriented pad because I'm cheap and wanted to see if I could get away with it so I got Project Mu NS400, pretty good street pad so far, won't know for awhile how they hold up to auox. Not sure what I'll do after that, W2/3, HC800 or DS2500 are top of the list followed by AX6. Hmm maybe I should just say fuck it and do the AX6's... Guess I'm just nervous how long they'll last DD as I don't want to buy pads every year. I really like my Carbotech XP10's for the track and they respond to autox very well but I can't get heat in them regularly enough for them to stay quiet on the street for more than a few days, the stock rotors are beastly, don't replace them thinking you've made an upgrade and when you do everyone seems to love the cheap centrics that you can get on Amazon prime.

Thanks for the replies. C Street is where i want to be, but I'm wondering if I can use the stainless steel brake lines if so? Otherwise my setup is completely stock.

Still thinking w2s or w3s for brake pads.

IMO brake lines are overrated, I'd rather spend the money on more seat time, ~$50 is basically another event to your calendar.
