Yeah I would rather be able to use an UEL header than have to run an EL header

yea the location of the battery and the turbo so closer together and the location of the turbo period concern people Ive showed. a vented hood is always helpful but since ive had the kit ive dragged my car cant catch traction since I have 235/ 35/ 18 on 18x9.5 wheels. but it doesn't my cat has temp have never been a concern. but ft86 has the trunk battery kit if that's a concern.
if you get uel with this kit it has a slight rumble not a signature boxer rumble. I guess it will also vary what exhaust you run to.
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFA1EOsifxg"]Brz ultimate racing turbo kit - YouTube[/ame] this is the link of a quick 25sec video of my car. my friend and I are going to make a video of me this weekend maybe, because that video I had 2.5" pipes instead of the 3" I have now.

but ill try to keep you guys more posted with the kit. but ultimate racing has a great kit the only regret I have is I should of got the ball bearing turbo. if you guys have any other question let me know, ill be on the forum more often.

Looks like you can also use any aftermarket header, which is a big plus.
I can see keeping the turbo away from the radiator being a good thing, but is the tradeoff worth it? It looks like the intake will only pul warm air from the engine bay, and if I recall correctly, the injector computer (or at least some kind of computer) near where the turbo is. That and you really need to relocate the battery. AVO and Ptuning have successfully moved the turbo away from the radiator and avoided getting excessive heat near any important electronics.

I guess the point comes down to, are the electronics strong enough to take the extra heat generated? Not trying to hate on this kit or anything, I like options. I really like the option of being able to go with a header and take the time to do all of the supporting mods, and then not have to sell the header before going turbo.

yea the kit it you can get heat shroud for the wires to protect them. the pruning kit you can use whatever headers you want to, but for more of a price. ptuning and d3 are the kits i wanted originally, but looked around some more found this one. i got this kit for 3786 so can't complain lol.

I would love to get a precision turbo haha but the flange should be able to support a bigger turbo when you want to upgrade plus if you relocate your battery that gives you the extra space for it.
