So, wait. The guy that shut down the highway to propose to his girlfriend in Texas says he made the decision to propose to her after a year and a half of dating. But he got a divorce in like July of this year...

I think the math might work out though. One news article has a quote that he and his wife separated 8 months after they got married in August of 2013. That's April 2014, from then until now I guess that's over a year and a half. Can't imagine why the divorce took so long though (probably money). It's clunky as hell though.

Also, what an idiot.

We are up to -12C now haha. I cant wait till it gets sub -30C in a few weeks

Is 6 here today but has been between 11 and 14 for the last two weeks or so. last year at this time we were buried under about 4 feet of snow but I haven't even seen more than a few flakes this year. I am enjoying it but starting to worry what is going to happen when it does get cold and snow.

You know what, out here in the west it has also been a super mild winter too. We saw like 7-10cm's the other night but thats basicly it for snow so far and this is the coldest day yet. We had +10C like 2 weeks ago

Well here it is a bit scary because it means the Great Lakes are not freezing over and when it does get cold and the wind comes up all that nice moist air will mean we are screwed.

hahaha good point! I thought the great lakes were so polluted they cant freeze anymore?

In other news did you hear about the guy who kill a moose up north with his timbits over some maple syrup? Some people are crazy and we should just lock them up. There is no need to kill our wildlife. What do you guys think??
