I have spent recent months of my life trying to be as healthy as I can be, and as reasonably as possible. I spent a lot of my life not drinking to excess, I quit smoking less than 3 years after I started, cleaned up my diet and started exercising a bit more often.

This is a result of watching my grandmother die because she was a smoker all of her life, then watching as my grandfather never walked again after breaking his hip, due to being very overweight, drinking himself stupid on a daily basis and being around second hand smoke, which also put him into an early grave.

Because of those 2 examples, I woke up and decided I needed to have a healthier lifestyle. I've worked hard in the past year and a half to get onto a better track with my health and overall well-being. I get up early, and go for runs. I don't really go out and get drunk anymore, instead I sit with friends and have a couple choice craft beers and shoot the shit, I quit smoking. I did all this to avoid the liver damage, avoid being overweight and to avoid cancer and emphysema.

And now, after this thread, none of that matters anyways, because reading this gave me cancer.
