New '16 Ice Silver Opti-Coated, Accessories installed.

Just took my newly delivered BRZ directly to Horizon Detailing in Allentown PA for Opti-Coat Pro Plus ceramic paint protection. Picked it up last night. The car looks fantastic. Owner/operator Robert did a great job. He also applied protective coatings to the windshield, lower portion of each door panel, and door thresholds.

Dealer installed OEM FR-S splash guards
Installed Diode Dynamics LEDs: Back up, license plate, trunk, vanity, & dome

Installed center console heat switch trim piece #6 (Amazon)
Swapped out OEM mats with MAXpider Kagu front floor mats
Plugged interior firewall sound generator hole

Activated free Sirius 4 month trial period

Only one quality control issue. Taking BRZ to dealership tomorrow to check noisy tires. Not sure if they are out of round or out of balance.

Congrats, enjoy. It's rare to see another enthusiast owner around this area.

These tires are the nosiest you will ever experience. Coupled with the lack of soundproofing they always sound like there is something wrong. Don't be surprised if they say it is normal. It probably is.
Wait until you here snows an that thing!

@DocWalt. oh there you are. I didn't know you were in PA. I assume that given our network of friends you know who I am referring to.

Service Manager test drove the BRZ this afternoon. He noticed the noise too. He thinks it may be a possible bad wheel bearing on left front. He ordered the part and will have it installed next week. We'll see and report in...

A friend let me drive his new 2014 BRZ a while back and I do not recall any issue with excessively noisy tires. The '14 & '16 tires are identical OE.

Had WORKS Motorsports install a SuperPro Control Arm (LCA) Kit (to go with new cΦilovers installed a few weeks ago), a SuperPro Bushing (Suspension) Kit, do a complete suspension alignment, and oil change with filter.

Since most people (here) understand what a LCA does, I will not go into that.

The reason I had the bushing kit installed was to improve shifting and here are a few links about that; albeit from a different manufacturer:

DIY - Whiteline Positive Shift Kit:
At this point, there is something I want to explain.

I am one of ‘those people’ who does not like anyone touching my vehicles …and for fifty (50) plus years have personally done the majority of service, repairs, and modifications to all my motorcycles and automobiles.

Due to a large fire, I lost that ability when my workshop / studio / garage burnt down and all of my tools, etc. were destroyed.

Based on personal research I selected WORKS Motorsports to work on my BRZ because I personally liked the direction they were headed and am quite happy with my choice.

An open thanks to Harry, Leon, Nash, and Pete @WORKS for helping me ...and doing an excellent job with my Subaru BRZ.

Happy Holidaze, cwpbrz-ji

Added at least 10whp....

Also finally got the clear bra done. Bumper, full hood, full fenders, A-pillars, and the strip over the top of the windshield. The guy I went to even did a custom cut out for the fender "vents" and a custom piece for the rear spats, and rolled the film over the edges of the fenders and hood. No lines ftw! I'll take pics once it stops raining.
