With the right valve lift, valve timing, and exhaust header, you can make the peak torque line up with your shift points. This results in a strong, steady pull after each shift. Because you're NA, the exhaust will be just as critical to performance, as the intake. This would be a real measurable difference you can measure at the track. It might take some trial and error with different Final Drives to find the best gearing, but it would be worth it.

I did not label it, someone must have swapped it or thought the manifold was EJ orientation when it was scanned.

That sounds awesome but how streetable or daily driver friendly would those cams be? Would you have crazy idling?

so no downsides to daily street use at all? what would be the reasoning for anyone going with the fast road or ultimate road as opposed to the race cam?

The race cam lift will give you more pumping loses which is bad for fuel economy.

Only downside is valve to piston clearance. The longer they are open more chance of interference. Stock pistons probably wont work on every cam. Even HKS says you can not use their cam with stock pistons, they say you should buy the high capacity kit.

But don't we have chains instead of belts for timing? Maybe a noob like me can't think of interference screwing up something else (please elaborate)
