No, they don't stick out much at all.

Mine has seen track use and some mild "off roading".
Very unlikely you'll hit it on something.
If you do, it's probably going to be the least of your worries.

i've had mine on for almost 2 years now, been lowered .8 inches to 1.5 inches, scraped the bottom of my car before. haven't been worried about this guy in the least.

if you change your own oil its a dream. oil change in less than 10 minutes, and most of the time is spent jacking the car up and waiting for the oil to drain. no mess, no drama. I love it.

Give me some credit, all I managed to break doing this was my garage epoxy.

I did roll down the street and back without tightening the camber lock nuts in the back. Not like they can spin with the LCA in place though.
