That whole thread was pretty much a disaster right from the first post. I still can't quite figure out the OP's angle but there is without a doubt something fishy there.
Tried to give our evergreen friend some friendly advice but he was having no part of it so I gave up.
Is fun to watch others for a change though.

Pretty sure it was our buddy GTX again anyway. Just the persistence and unwavering dedication to taking the opposing viewpoint alone was a give away.

The story there had a smell to it. I guess we'll never know what that was all about.

Maybe.
I will try as hard as I can to ignore the next n00b who claims to own a "GTX86". Lessons learned etc.

I think everyone was fed up with Cedars and his insults. I know I was fed up when he kept asking my age.

I was more annoyed than angry though. I just wasn't in the mood to tolerate his bullshit right now. One report later, and you know the rest.

I loved your first response, "mommy is proud..." Considered adding it to my sig.

I don't interweb other places, just here. I am inspired by those of you that are consistently clever and funny.

My random question of the day is a noob question, so be prepared.

I bought an anarchy motive shift knob for my AUTO (Gasp!) FRS a while back. It came with a thread adapter that fits it. The thread adapter works, except it sits too high. If I attach the boot it stretches it and eventually pops off. I need a thread adapter that sits it lower so the boot isn't stretched. I guess I jut need a longer thread adapter? Who would sell one?

Diode Dynamics. They are really good, just was one of the unlucky minority who got a bad ballast. Found a thread from back in 2014 where a guy had the exact same issue.

All ok though, went on a drive with a buddy and feel ok now.

Still disappointed that one of the ballasts decided to die after a day but such is life.

Raseseng? Try looking at ft86sf or fteightsix? I'm not up to date on aftermarket shift knobs.

My schedule for my position at work has changed from 8 hours 5 days a week to 10 hours to 4 days a week with Mondays off. My first 3 day weekend is this current weekend. Not sure what to do ahahaha.

I would love that schedule.

Mine is 6 days on with 1 day off in the middle and 6 days off with 1 day on.

Working days are 12 hours. Only reason I'm working this schedule (and job) is because the pay is pretty good for a single 23 yo with no other obligations except car payments + misc. bills.

Also helps that I get a bonus for night shift.

Seems Diode Dynamics has been having some quality control issues lately... My LEDs still work though.

On another matter, I wanted to start a "First Post Compilation" thread, but unfortunately, I can't seem to go past 500 pages.

Nice to get a good paying job at a young age. I was fortunate to get a job with the state at 25. Just need to do 20, and I'm off doing another job. Plus I don't have to pay into social security : )
