Do the Cabot Trail. I live in the Annapolis Valley and it is another tourism hotspot. If you're into history and that kind of stuff Grand Pre is right up the road from me. It's a UNESCO world heritage site. There is a small club autocross very close to Halifax on the 11th, you could some smoke us slow Canadians!

Gotta thread-jump on this one. I'm looking at heading up that way early- or mid-fall if I can get spousal approval (it would be a solo trip, since I have a ton more vacation days than she does), and I was wondering: when does fall color usually peak and when does the weather finally turn crappy?

Hahahah no problem. Autocross details can be found here: http://www.armsinc.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=13926
It's just a small club event, but I'll be there. I have the decal'd up #20 FR-S and I usually wear a bit stupid hat because I hate the sun.

As for good Coffee, not really haha. I'm a Tim Horton's guy but I accept that it is brown dirt water that we pass as coffee

If you're into the free trade/organic stuff then TAN or Just Us coffee might be up your alley.

Enjoy!

Mid September is nice, but it is sometimes unpredictable. They start to fade come early/mid November in my area, but it varies over the province. Rainy/cool weather comes around that time as well.

Man, glad to see there's atleast some 86s in the Maritimes that post on here. I'm in New Brunswick and I've only seen 2 other local 86s, both BRZs, and neither guy waved back at me. Maybe I should move to Halifax, lol

Nope I'm from the valley and mine is Ultramarine. My friend owns a silver one with RPF1s, no turbo though.

There are 4 or 5 of us who do autocross, but many of us have our cars put away for the winter. I can organize osmething in the spring. There are enough of us now that it would probably OK. Add up Scotia Scions (not my group, but there are a few of us there)
