Cheap aesthetic mods (interior & exterior?)

Hey folks, I'm saving some money up to splurge on some aesthetic improvements to the car when I take it out of storage in the spring (my non-aesthetic improvement that I've ordered is an Invidia catback exhaust).

1. At any rate, what are some easy mods, for interior or exterior, that you guys recommend?

2. One thing in particular that I'd like to get is a badge that has a glow behind it, but I did some googling and could only find this Scion version...

Any ideas where I could find something like that, that's not Scion?

Replacing your interior/trunk/license plate lights with white LEDs is cheap and simple but makes a huge difference.

Just remember that cheap mods generally look cheap.

If you plan on selling the car at some point, make sure any of these cheap mods can be removed and returned to stock.

I looked at that actually! Why do you recommend white? I was thinking either the red or the blue...

Colors can look a little tacky in person. Pure white looks nice and subtle

cheap is relative to perspective and can look quite nice depending on what you are wanting to do. Since he is asking for cheap appearance upgrades I would say that there are plenty to do the job without looking tacky.

Light upgrades
Shifter change
dash wraps (just the two piece radio section)
console plaque
center console arm rest
upgrade to "leather" knee pads, speaker pads, dash cover if not already equipped
floor mats, either weathertech or something custom
toyota badges if that is your thing
debadging truck
shark fin antenna for those early model years
fog light upgrade (or fog lights if not installed)
rear spoiler lip. can get a cheap ebay painted to match but paint is usually thin and chips easy (good thing it is on the rear) and sometimes paint isnt exact match.
if on stockers plasti dipping wheels may be an option to try out different colors.
window tint
seat covers (a little bit more of an expensive option)
painting/dipping badges
replace fender garnish
android head units can go for as little as 250

plenty of more options beyond what I just listed out.

stay away from cheap paint changes (two toning), wraps, light housings, major items etc...

I do agree with justin and keep all your stock parts for easy return to stock, quicker sale and less money lost at trade in.

A wrap done right can be a good thing. It protects the paint and can easily be removed prior to selling. As long as you use a knifeless shop (preferably with a 3M preferred accreditation) then no blades will go anywhere near your vehicle.
I have a partial wrap on mine which I plan on changing every few months.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a car with evidence of any of the mods listed above.

All of them, to me, scream "young kid's first car" which makes me assume it was abused and poorly maintained - or at least there's a much higher chance of that than with a stock example.

For Sale: 2014 FR-S with lots of cheap stuff stuck to it.

^^ Doesn't sound great. Makes me think of the fake fender vent aisle of Pep Boys.

Heres a few to start with:

Ricer decals/ Racing stripe
Underglow neon to match ricey emblems
Cut the springs
Spray paint wheels
Spray paint car
Spray paint interior
Vinyl on roof (tacky yet popular mod)
DIY tint
Spray taillights with nightshades to the point it doesn't light up

So window tint, oem additions like the knee pads speaker pads, weighted shifters, led lights to improve vision inside and out, fog lights etc... which individually are all 200 or less and some can come from the dealer are young kid mods and therefore show abuse? I'll have to remember to avoid any tint in the future when buying a used car.
