If its not too late I am thankful for this guy

and I have no idea what he is supposed to be or be doing, but when I see him I know I should stop and read a few posts because they will be entertaining

I'm thankful to be alive. Seriously. Had a motorcycle accident two weeks ago and it could have been much worse. Escaped with four fractured ribs, three fractured vertebrae and a partially collapsed lung. Went back to work two days later (then took the rest of the week off to rest up). I'm thankful for my wife for putting up with my motorcycling (and other crashes) over the past 17 years. Just glad to be around.

I'm thankful for the patience I've been developing the last couple of years. While I can still be heated up; my ability to calm down and not do something stupid (especially on the internet), has gone way up. My parents still lose their tempers and throw things; so I'm very thankful for my progress towards being zen like calm.

I'm thankful for my wife, friends, car and that after so many years I finally got to return to what was once a great passion for me. It's also a lot of fun to come on here and share it with everyone else.

Of course, I'm thankful for my education and career. While I may have worked my ass off I recognize the opportunity, luck and many other factors that played a role.

I'm thankful for letting her tail out with a weee bit of throttle while the tiles are still cold. I'm thankful for rainy roads, the affordability of orange cones, and large empty parking lots.
