Black Friday deals are terrible this year.

I'm looking for a proper laptop, can't find anything good.. Ah well. More patience, it is!

Hmm... Anyone know where to get some good comic book art? My brother is a huge comic book nerd and I thought it would be cool to get him like an art print or something for Christmas, but I'm finding out that they're pretty difficult to find.

It's usually easiest to get prints straight from the artist - so if you happen to know who his favorite artist is, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

I don't know who his favorite is, per say, but when I asked who was a good artist he said Greg Capullo first. Followed by Jock, then Tony Moore.

I don't think Greg Capullo currently has a web store, and Jock's web store is pretty sparse.

Anyone saw any Black Friday deal in SA-2015 or SA-2010 helmets? I need to replace my current helmet (SA-2005).

Yeah, I saw that. The only thing that I'm not sure about is both his Batman pieces (the only thing he drew I know my brother likes) are from New 52, which I've seen are kind of unpopular. I can't pry too much because he'll be suspicious. Capullo is the art I was really after since he was named first.

Ah, yeah.

Usually the best bet is direct from the artist, or trying your luck at cons.

Depending on how your brother feels about Frank Miller, there is a new Dark Knight series out, and I think the collector's edition of the first issue is coming out on 12/9, which might make for a cool gift (albeit a cheap one). The art is very cool in it, and it's less fascist than Frank Miller's usual stuff.
