So djust throwing the question out here.
I feel that I want some more breaking power in the back of my GT86. Have tried staggerd break pad combo, and that dident feel right. Do I must admit that it wasn't so good pads Pmu 800 front and Pmu 400 in the bak ![]() And the 800 gott kookt. 2015 I contacted the dealership that supplies the GT86 cup cars whit breaks, and he recommended me a set of PFC 11 all around, it felt better, but not as good as I whist. Frying the front pads and in the back they look as new? I am running break cooling in the front bay the way. But for 2016 i won't too take first place and not 3, so I will have too have even more breaking power!!! So is there a break balance valve in the master cylinder that can be taken out or moded to give this cars better balance? Or is it time to go bigger breaks? I am already breaking so late that I have Ben off the track several times this year, but that is not good enough, want more stopping power, so that I can break my self past the more powerful cars in my class |

Moving to a BBK will save you a lot of money on consumables. The RR Racing BBK will move the brake balance from 73% to 62%. That the only kit I know that improve brake balance.

You need the rear to change the balance.

@CSGmike
Track setup question: Once you have a square setup on a BRZ/FRS, what else do you need to do so that the car wont understeer "like a pig"? You know I appreciate how the S2000 rotates with fine inputs from the driver. My local 86er's are asking me this question, since they have been hearing complain about the understeer when I drive their cars. So I am all ears. Thanks Mike.

It's all a balancing game and will depend on where the setup is at, throwing springs and tires and sways is a waste imo if the tires aren't pointed in the right direction. The grip locked away by factory settings to preserve tire wear and foolish lives is significant. |

Well, I setup my BRZ pretty much the way you suggested a couple years ago, and it was pretty damn good. But you already know how I feel about the S2000, and I shared my views with my local 86 brethren. They immediately started asking how to make their BRZ turn like my S2000. I was gonna run down a list of things for them, (tires,camber,toe,coilovers, etc.) to do like I did to my BRZ. But in the end my BRZ didn't quite rotate like my S2000 does. So, I thought I should ask the question here. You know I did a lot to my BRZ, and it drove great. But of all things, I never did change out and stiffen up the rear sway bar funny enough. I hope your not telling me that I could have just bought a rear sway, instead of an S2000 to help me with understeer.

Ok sounds fantastic if that's going to do the trick.
So I guess I stick whit a new set of PFC11 or better. About that pedal dance, every f**king time I have tried that on race day, it's always something that fuckt that up, to much slope in the lineup or the car isn't warm enough ![]() So not to myself, get a OBD pedal dance device ![]() About stickier tires, the rolls say no less than TW180 and EU E-label, the sad part is that almost every good tires that you guys use in the states that's in the tw200 mark, has no E markings and is a no go ![]() So this is it I think. Kumho ecsta xs ku36, running a set of them 2015, and was the gripiest so far, 235/45 17 on a 17x9 wheel do there isn't much reinforcement in the sides. Yokohama AD08R. Nankang NS2R. Tried a set 2015 and the kumho is a better choice. Bridgestone Potenza RE002 Adrenalin ? Maybe some more. But the majority of tires whit E label is r comp and way lower than tw180 |

Traction control is a hindrance for people who frequent the track, but would it actually allow for an amateur to drive faster than with it off due to less errors even if it cuts off power from time to time?
