I'm quite a fan of this limited, limited edition. But using the stock tail pipes instead of a quad pipe...? I'm not sure about that. And better wheels would be nice. Like 18s. But otherwise, it's a win to me.

If I had an RS1, I'd probably put that blackline on exactly as it appears in the pictures.

But alas, I don't.

I do have a Halo car though... nahhh

EDIT: Saw the overhead shot... ehhhhhh nope, but probably still worth a go if I had an RS1!

I'm okay with this never happening. Helps my base model retain its value.

I really like racing stripes and if I had white or blue I would probably have one. That thing on top of the car is not a racing strip. I don't really know what it is. It sort of looks like the designer had some sort of seizure and they were pushing deadline so went with it anyway.

To be fair... I'll still take it over people who try plastidipping or vinyl-wrapping their car and fail at it.

Something along the lines of:

1) Oil Cooler
2) TRD Springs
3) 4.55 Final drive
4) The black 17 inch wheels from the Smurf-colored BRZ
5) Stickier, summer tires

All this would add up to a more engaging car for not too much extra, without having to re-certify the car for
emissions or crash testing...

I'm 90% certain that the hyper blue BRZ wheels are exactly like the stock FR-S and BRZ wheels without the machining on the face of the wheel.

Out stock wheels are painted black. Subaru just machines the face after painting and that removes the black paint on the face of the wheel.

To be fair, I think the stock wheels are painted some really dark silver, like a charcoal color, rather than black. Hard to tell from the pics if the hyper blue wheels were painted black and no machined or machined and then painted black.
