Makes me pine for the old days when the only time you heard this garbage was when the person was right there in person and you could make them attempt to prove it (and some did but most still couldn't).
I remember getting in an argument with a jackass I used to work with claiming huge hp gains with splitfire spark plugs (remember those?) and replacement belts (not pulleys, belts).

I finally called him on those and he went on to claim that he had custom fiberglass doors to reduce weight. I stuck a note to his door with a magnet that read 'Magnets do not stick to fiberglass.'

He never mentioned his car again to me, which is really all I wanted.

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD

I just noticed.
Are those freakin' wheelie wheels under the exhaust or am I just imagining things?

I hope it's just a shadow, but you could definitely be correct.

I can't even begin to guess what look he was going for with the vinyl and yellow wheels.

Blind people are thankful when they hear about this car.

Look at the left one. Distinctly see a roller and axle bolt. Not a shadow that is for sure.

My favorite remains "definitely makes a difference because I shove a rag in the snorkel and at high speeds it doesn't feel as strong"
That is some non-debatable testing and results there my friend. I am trying to place an order right now.

I had seen that, and was still hoping for a shadow. I can't tell how close those are to the road surface, but it really looks like the car would already be past its tipping point before those things touch the ground.

Is there anything in the stock driveline that would survive an engine and tire combo that would make this car wheelstand?

Can't believe he shoved rags into his intake*facepalm*
It didn't feel as strong? No kidding... I bet if you put rags into your wind pipe you wouldn't feel very strong either.
