This BRZ commercial totally depicts my relationship with my dad.

My eye teared up a bit.

That's an old one. But yeah, I think a lot of us went through a stage like that.

the worst part is my dad always asking for my help with chores and stuff, and he's a little bit OCD. So when he washes his cars, he totally does it wrong and screws everything up, (including his car).

I've gotten to the point where if he asks me for his help, I'm like: "dad, sit down go watch TV, and let me do the rest". But he will get mad and come out anyways and start controlling stuff, and then drop things on the ground and pick up pebbles, then I cringe and cannot handle it.

He takes it the wrong way, and I scream at him, but wutever.... damage is done.... his 2011 WRX limited is so swirled up beyond recognition, ( I even sent him the thread in the cosmetic correction, and he just got mad).

I went out and bought totally separate car wash stuff, and told everyone not to touch my stuff (because it has not touched the ground)... lol and they got mad and insulted....

What am I do to ?

( I feel like this is a dear Abby for car enthusiasts, lol)

I will however buy that premo wax, once it is not on back-order and be happy to wax my folks' cars! It's the least I can do.

Yeah, my dad is also very stubborn. For example, he refused to spend another 100 dollars total on superior Enkei wheels and instead got the cheapest no-name, made in China wheels available for his Evo X MR for winter (which lasts half the year here). And they are so close to the calipers that they even rub a little when they flex. He is just so unreasonable sometimes. But we don't really yell anymore. My mom still drives me crazy though. LOL

Man, I curbed the shit out of my mom's TL acura in the dead of winter in CO, and was running summer sports, Im so mad, because the cost of new tires would have offset all all "costs" and "blame" and "headaaches".... because my dad is a cheepy guy.... I love him, but sometimes I wanna smack him too!
