I like people. Even people I don't like, I like. If nothing else they give me fun stories to share with the people I do like and sometimes let me feel superior (even when I know I am really not). Going through life expecting to not like people means that you yourself may end up not being likable and you can miss out on meeting some great people (or gather some great stories).

Haha it's entirely possible we'd get along then. I might try this furniture store that sells the unique blend of swimming pools, hot tubs, gaming tables and regular furniture. The people coming in there probably won't really be jerks since everything is really expensive stuff you want, not need so anyone actually looking to buy knows what they're getting themselves into.

Not a bad suggestion, except I would be utterly useless the one incredibly rare time something happens, and knowing my luck, something would happen while I was on watch.

Here's one for you: trying going from a male-dominate, testosterone filled Army infantry life where you are trained to be alpha as fuck and then go into customer service. Talk about grinding my teeth to be a kiss ass.Top that off with my lack of tolerance, high anxiety issues, and general vulgar humor. :p I've readjusted now so we good!

Indeed. Funny story, a couple of years ago during the Bitcoin craze, I actually had a pretty good rig running in my bedroom. It was the dead of winter and it worked as a surprisingly cost effective space heater.

Talking about space heaters, I still have an IBM 185 running under my desk at work. We finally got around to sunsetting DCE/DFS a couple months ago so I guess I can retire it.

Ummmm That would actually be the total opposite of the people you think would be coming in. The jerk level goes up proportionally to the expense and exclusiveness of the merchandise.


So you would be the normal security guard then.
