Ordered mine around the same time as you. Early august and i havent heard anything. I too believed that maybe the mail maybe got lost. I saw someone on another forum and it took them 98 days. I just hit 90 days

I too ordered the black and yellow plates (with a cheesy personalized name).

Unfortunately, I don't have a build thread. Not too many detailed pics of it either. I only have pics of it on my instagram lol. One of these days when I'm not feeling lazy I'll probably start a build thread though.

OK.. I know I'm gonna get teased for this, especially after my admitted cheapness in the center-console plaque thread, but I couldn't resist. Never had a thing for personalized plates (used to be called "vanity plates," but "personalized" sounds so much nicer) and could never imagine getting them, but something about this car demanded'em... so I gave in and ordered some. Guess I'll have to break down and get in touch w/ the yospeed guy, too, for a console badge.. lol.

The plates I ordered say "MAX SMRT." Anybody here old enough to know the connection to this car?

Do you guys think a California Legacy Plate (the one with black background & yellow characters) would look good on a Hot Lava FRS?

Well, now, MuseChaser ....... welcome to ....... the mod fever .....

A rationalization for having personalized plates, is that it’s easier for older folks to remember them, when they register at motels.

The down side is that if you're sighted by a jealous husband, driving off from his house ...... it's easier for him to remember your license plate ....

As far as "MAX SMRT" ....... that just might get you kicked over to the Buick forum ......

That's what I'm trying to imagine! lol & I can't seem to find any pictures of a hot lava frs with one on it.
