Thanks for the suggestions though, if you have anymore, please tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just the filter will be fine, the intake tubes are rearly jist for looks and to nicely delete the sound tube, but you can just plug it up its near steering colimn.

Once you start messing with intakes and headers you rearly need a tune.

Some intakes dont upset the maf scaling , best one for that is the grimspeed and maybe mishimoto intakes, almost all the others will require maf rescale to get them tunning smoothly.

An intake is very unlikely to damage anything if fitted correctly as the stock tune runs quite rich and most will lean it out a bit, but its often the low end smoothness that suffers with aftermaket intakes without maf rescale. Occasionally aftermarket intakes will alter flow enough to throw cel codes, but not often.

I'm very happy with my Takeda intake.

As mentioned earlier unfortunately I put lightweight engine pulleys on at the same time as the inlet, removing the stock intake tube in front of the radiator as per the instructions.

This meant I had no real way of knowing which gave the best increases if any.

I got no CEL & the only downside was the traction control coming on way earlier than normal, really exposing the stock wheel & tyre weaknesses.

The reason I went with the Takeda & the trouble of getting it out of the States was a series of videos on YouTube including this one

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeEpMsKWek0"]2013 Scion FR-S Intake: Takeda Dyno Test - YouTube[/ame]

It showed one of the best gains of all the intakes tested.

I have had my car retuned since putting the intake & Primary Cat Back Milltek exhaust on.

I'm extremely happy with the performance of my GT 86 now.

It goes very well for what it is, the handling is exceptional, the horsepower is lacking after jumping out of my Manual 05 Monaro though

I just put it in, deleted the stupid noise tube & off I went, no drama, no CEL, good times.

How does it sound without the sound tube?
