These arrived for me at work this morning.

I know that there's very little info on the forums for these, and I unfortunately won't be providing a review until the spring (damn Chicago winters). But I can tell you the specs.

Single-adjustable
Inverted monotube in the front, and monotube dampers in the rear
Front Rates: 38N/mm
Rear Rates: 30-45N/mm (progressive)
Lowering range: 25-50mm

Comparable suspensions on the market would be the Bilstein B16 PSS10 and Ohlins R&T.

The rates are on the softer side, but the main focus with these is the valving and overall damping characteristic of the system.

Can't wait to try them out in the spring!

hmm interesting how they made the rear set up progressive. maybe it`ll give you a better ride.

There's very little room for a long damper in the rear.

Yeah from what the Race Engineering guy told me their focus was to make a suspension that works for both street and track, which makes sense given the price point and competition.

The B16 actually uses progressive rates in both the front and rear.

I'm betting that it should prove to be a good compromise between comfort for daily driving (especially on Illinois' awful roads) and several track days a year.

Nice. I really wanted these (and still kind of do). Interesting they went with progressive springs like Bilstein.

If anyone is seriously interested in a set I can put you in touch with the guy you need to contact to order a set. List price is around $2,500 as a heads up.

My only reservation about Sachs is the ease of rebuilding/service. I went with Bilstein for that reason, but if I can rebuild these just as easily, I'd rather have Sachs.

The place you'd purchase them from is the company's office in Northville, MI. They'd be the ones to service everything too. So if you're cool with a single option for servicing you'll be just fine. They do all their servicing out of that location, mainly stuff like Porsche Cup cars.

If you're looking to rebuild yourself or have a third party do it, I'm not sure it will be as easy. But I'm sure there are probably some shops out there that rebuild SACHS stuff for the Euro crowd.

I would really like to have some real life experience with this setup. I am a bit biased towards the Ohlins R&T, but I could get one of these for a very reasonable price.

Have not found any experience with them on the net.

The only news is that they will be getting installed in about 2 weeks. Winter is just coming to an end here in Chicago, so it's finally time to start installing all the fun stuff I bought over snowy season.

I'll post plenty of pics and a review from the install day. I've also got the first HPDE of the season coming up on April 2nd, so I'll have impressions of how the perform on the track then.
