Hello everyone, my name is Adrian. Coming from the nissanclub website. My 2009 altima had been having a lot of issues as of late and I had always been eyeing this car since it was first going to come out. Couple years later I am currently driving one of my *affordable* dream cars. I had done a couple things to my altima mostly cosmetic, the same is likely to follow through here. My car is a 2015 Scion Fr-s AT in raven, really wanted white but couldn't take the extra cost of a 16 in halo.

My first modifications were
1. Remove dealership badging
2. Dipped windows visors (sucks to find out you cant remove them cleanly)
3. Dipped my rear license plate frame
4. Removed front license plate bracket

Going to be testing with a 3d printed sound chamber plug with the 86 logo for the interior intake resonator just to hear the difference

My visors had some bubbling on the warning sticker which I tried to pop with a needle but didnt help so I had to remove the bubbles and deal with a small pit

Anyways

Hey y'all, my name is Andy. Hopefully I'll be able to order my BRZ soon. Right now I just drive my '02 F150 and '67 Fj 40. Ive never really been into sports cars but I'm tired of driving gas guzzlers. Im really looking forward to having a fun, fuel efficient car to drive. I hope that it puts a smile on my face everyday when I get in it.

Just bought a 2016 this weekend. Coming from a 2013 CRZ, the SPG increase is definitely worth the MPG decrease.

Hello.. My name is Winston I recently purchased a 2014 BRZ Limited, dark grey metallic. I also own an 06 RS3 Scion xB ( the envy green one ) and just sold a 93 240sx that I swapped a SR20det motor into. I live in northern Montana so there is not a lot of owners of these cars around here. I'm sort of an oddball with my import fetish in a town full of pickups. I love the BRZ and am thankful for all the info I can find on this forum.

Well, well, well. It's been a long time since I've ever been part of an active forum and after trying to resist the temptation to join the forum, I gave in and created an account.

So, I'm an owner of a 2016 Halo Scion FR-S, and like many others on the forum, I absolutely love it. It's nothing special compared to other member's cars on the forum; it's no X-Spec GTX TRD Edition with moar power, it's not a stripped down race car (which means I'm not qualified to give advice on suspension setups or racing in general), but damn it, it's mine and it's staying with me for a long time, if not forever.

I'm actually already familiar with some of the SoCal members already. They're a silly bunch of people.

Here is a frontal-ish side view of car as it sat on 8/6 day at Modbargains:

Hello I'm Kristen. I've currently got a deposit down on a 2016 Hyper Blue BRZ in NC. I'm really excited, but also very nervous as I'll be trading in my (fully paid off) 2008 Charger SRT8 super bee. The Hyper Blue is almost the same color as my Charger, which is part of the reason I love the car.

I love my charger, LOVE it, but I'm transferring schools after this spring and my commute is about to go from 5 minutes to about 2 1/2 hours every other day so the idea was to find a car that I didn't hate to drive that would get a little better gas mileage than my current one. I have loved the look of the Twins since the concept was released and not having a family yet, it's a perfect time to get a fun little 2 seater while I still can!

I'm currently enjoy reading about all of your guys' love for your cars, and love the fact that in a couple years I'll have this one completely paid off and can still mod it as a fun car after the need for such a long commute is over.

Either way I really look forward to getting to know all of you, and having a manual car to drive daily will be exciting, as I haven't had one in a few years. (I do have a diesel truck I drive around during bad weather that's a manual.)

Have a great rest of your weekend!

Hello All

Thought I'd say hey.

I'm Ben, from SW england. I'm picking up a '13 GT86 next mounth. It'll be a daily that I've managed to blag as a company car, but that doesnt mean I cant make any changes.
wont be going wild, the ususal, suspension, wheels, lip kit, intake. Doubt I'll change the exhaust due to the miles I'll be doing and it's used for work so cant be pulling up popping and banging.

My car history is varied but the main chunck of is Civics (7 to be exact!) with the highlight being a B18C4 EK with lots of ek9 bits. More recently its be rwd stuff, MX5 and volvo 340 (the little hatch, big for skiding over in Europe)

Nice to meet you all .

Well hello,

I've been stalking an FRS purchase for some time now. Frantically following behind you all on the freeway, swooning at sight of your car's lovely curves. Peeking from behind the cracked windshield of my embarrassing (though practical) minivan. A Mazda MPV adorn with a sticker notifying others that "I used to be cool", which guaranteed chuckles fueled by pitty.

I watched excitedly as many of you modified and upgraded your beauties, taking note of the details as you'd all share your processes. I maintained lists for various cosmetic improvements that happened to get my blood pumping. I documented every relevant, and generously shared tip I found. I was the ultimate lurker.

So it was with an excited, informed, and confident spirit I finally bought my FRS this weekend! My wonderful, 2013 Silver Ignit10n beauty. It's been so long since I've owned a car that was fun to drive that I keep finding myself unintentionally smiling while behind the wheel. I must look like the biggest dork.

I hope to meet some more so-cal owners too. I saw one the other day and waved, but I think I just confused him. If any of you in the Riverside-Beaumont area see a long haired dude in a silver FRS smiling from ear to ear, it's probably me, and I'm probably waving at you!

Because this introduction isn't quite long enough (/s), let me add that I'm so grateful to so many people on this forum who have unknowingly helped me in my research, and decision making process. I've gleaned so much from this community, and that's before I even owned the damn car. Thank you all so much for sharing your experiences, and knowledge.

Now I need to get back to my window so I can stare intensely at my new obsession, as she looks up at me, enticing me to leave work early to play.
