Semi-grave dig, but no. Street basis do not come with top hats. You have two choices for front camber, crash (camber bolts), or camber plates. In the rear, you only have one true good option for camber, lower control arms.

Source: my car has street basis.

What's the minimum you can lower the car? I'm looking at these but only want to lower the car maybe half an inch

I'm thinking of running these coils with a an 18"x9.5 +40 rim and 235/40 tire think I'll have any issues?

Glad this thread is back alive. I am currently saving my pennies (literally, selling everything but my iPhone on ebay to afford these things) for my 16 FR-S because I am eventually looking into 18x9.5 +38 offset all around. Do you think this would be a doable setup? I live in Florida by the way and it is currently 81 degrees in late December, so road salt is not an issue lol. If you could give me advice on what wheel size to run along with these coilovers that would be great, I would be kind of pissed if I had to adjust camber/roll fenders/run crazy spacers or whatever to get them to fit. Also, how is ride quality compared to an entirely stock car? I have no idea what coilovers feel like at all. Thanks in advance

This is actually what I was thinking would work. I am looking at the Ambit RE02 18x9.5 +38 with 245/35/18 tires. Most likely will go for this as long as some other guys have done it (like you) with no consequences. Thanks a lot!

Great to hear. I picked up the street basis cheap from a member on the forum and am only interested in getting the look. My buddy is convinced that I will need additional camber to tuck the wheels but I know these coils use the stock top hats hence my apprehension... Are you maxed out on the coils? or did you have to raise them a little to get some clearance? Thanks for your response!

You will need camber to tuck the front wheels if they are 9.5 wide. You should be able to run the coils at the lowest height while still having clearance.

I don't necessarily want to have the wheels tuck under the fender, I just want to know if they'll fit and fill out the wheel well. I don't mind if they stick out a little.

Hey guys, sorry for the misinformation.. I read this as the street flex, not basis. Not sure if SPC or Whiteline camber bolts would help in this situation.

No problem, man thanks for the response. Well, at least I have plenty of time to figure this out before the spring...

I just installed a set of Basis. Lowered the collars all the way down but the front still seems high. Can still stick a finger or so between the fender and the tire.

Is this normal? Setup had more than enough time to settle. Incorrect installation? I've ran tein coilovers before on other platforms and they certainly dropped lower.
